Privacy Policy

Maintory ("the app", "we") helps you keep a record of your vehicles — expenses, service, fuel, reminders, and related notes. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain because that is how the app is built.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you create an account we store your email address and a unique account identifier. If you sign in with Google or with Apple, we receive your email address and name from that provider. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only ever receive the private relay address.
• Car data you enter. The vehicles, expenses, service records, reminders, mileage, and notes you add to the app. This is information you choose to provide.
• Preferences. Settings such as your units, currency, language, and notification choice.

Maintory does not collect location data, contacts, photos, or device identifiers, and does not include advertising or third-party analytics or tracking.

How we use your information

Your information is used only to provide the app: to sign you in, to store and sync your car records across your devices, and to show local maintenance reminders. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where your data is stored

Maintory uses Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) to authenticate you and to store your data securely. Firebase processes this data on our behalf as a service provider. Your records are tied to your account and are not accessible to other users.

Notifications

With your permission, the app schedules local notifications on your device to remind you before a service is due. These are generated on your device and can be turned off at any time in the app's Settings or in your device settings.

Your choices and rights

• You can view and edit your car data in the app at any time.
• You can sign out from the app's Settings.
• You can delete your account and all associated data. Once in-app account deletion is available it can be done from Settings; you may also request deletion by emailing us at the address below, and we will remove your account and data.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When your account is deleted, your records are removed from our systems.

Children

Maintory is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
